Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of WBert, including our website, platform, tools, APIs, and related services.
By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
WBert is a backend platform that provides tools for database management, API configuration, OAuth authentication, entity management, dynamic business logic, process execution, email templates, organization settings, and usage management.
The platform is designed to help users build and manage the backend layer of their applications faster.
2. Accounts and Organizations
To use the platform, you may need to create an account. An account may be created using email/password or supported OAuth providers such as Google or Apple.
When a new user registers, WBert may automatically create an organization and assign it to the Free plan unless otherwise configured.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account or organization.
3. Organization Roles and Permissions
Organization owners and administrators are responsible for managing users, roles, permissions, plan settings, and access to application resources.
You must ensure that only authorized users have access to your organization, applications, databases, processes, API endpoints, and configuration data.
4. Plans, Limits, and Usage
WBert may offer Free, Pro, Custom, or other plans. Each plan may include limits related to database usage, storage, API calls, users, email sending, process executions, queue calls, entities, connectors, and other resources.
Plan limits may be enforced automatically by the platform. If your organization exceeds or approaches a limit, certain features may be restricted until usage is reduced or the plan is upgraded.
Custom plans may be configured manually and may include custom limits, terms, or commercial arrangements.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use WBert to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringe the rights of others.
- Upload, store, or process unlawful, harmful, abusive, or malicious content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, APIs, or networks.
- Interfere with the security, reliability, or performance of the platform.
- Send spam, phishing messages, malware, or abusive communications.
- Use the platform to build or operate services that create excessive risk, abuse, or illegal activity.
6. Customer Content
You retain ownership of the content, data, configurations, database definitions, process definitions, templates, and other materials you create or upload to WBert.
You grant WBert the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, store, display, and operate your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content complies with applicable laws, third-party rights, and these Terms.
7. APIs and Generated Backend Tools
WBert may allow users to expose APIs, configure endpoints, create database structures, define entities, run processes, and automate backend logic.
You are responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, and validating any API, database operation, process, or business logic configured through the platform before using it in production.
8. Security Responsibilities
WBert provides security features such as authentication, roles, permissions, and configuration controls. You are responsible for configuring them correctly for your applications and organizations.
You must not share credentials, private keys, OAuth secrets, API keys, or other sensitive information with unauthorized parties.
9. Beta, Experimental, and Preview Features
Some features may be provided as beta, preview, or experimental functionality. These features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.
You should not rely on beta or experimental features for critical production workloads unless you have evaluated and accepted the associated risks.
10. Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure issues, third-party services, or events outside our control.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when necessary to improve the platform, maintain security, comply with legal requirements, or manage operational risk.
11. Fees and Payments
Paid plans may require payment of fees. Pricing, limits, billing terms, and available features may vary by plan.
If payment functionality is not yet enabled, upgrades or custom plans may be managed manually by WBert administrators.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risks, exceed permitted use, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the platform unlawfully.
Upon termination, access to your account, organization, applications, data, and configurations may be restricted or removed according to our retention policies.
13. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WBert disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and error-free operation.
You are responsible for evaluating whether the platform is suitable for your use case and for maintaining backups, testing configurations, and securing your applications.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WBert will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or service interruption.
15. Third-Party Services
The platform may integrate with third-party services such as OAuth providers, email services, hosting providers, analytics tools, or payment providers.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the effective date and may notify users through the platform or website.
